Steve Burris harnessed his passion, frustration, and extensive experience with the industry to create a “fix” for the system in 2010, when he created Kevo Properties. Then, Kevo was just two agents and a dream of a better way of doing real estate. Today, Kevo has more than 300+ REALTORS ® collaborating to give clients better real estate results and experiences.

His secret to success? At Kevo, we put our agents first and give them the highest level of training, mentorship, and team support. With a solid foundation and tools and training, success follows.
Kevo has since grown to one of the top 10 brokerages in the state of Oklahoma with offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

Our Leader

Steve Burris started his career as a manager at a local pharmacy, but believed there was something better out there. At age 30, he bought and flipped his first house and made $7,000 profit. This felt like a natural fit for him, so he got his real estate license and went to work.

After 20 years in the real estate industry, Steve Burris saw a need to create a company dedicated to putting agents first and helping them discover their own leadership abilities; challenging the norms of the industry through the principals of inclusiveness, mentorship, and technological advancements. As an answer to a need in the industry, Kevo Properties was founded in 2010.

As CEO, Steve has managed all areas of a rapidly growing company including: operations, marketing, education, government affairs, and compliance. Over the course of the last two years he has immersed himself in disruptive technology trends and application of those trends within the field of real estate. More recently, he started a real estate school designed to lower of entry for new agents to get their real estate license and join the industry. Steve believes the opportunity to run your own real estate business should be available to everyone.

Steve is an Oklahoma-native dedicated to his family, and to innovating the real estate market.
